The Psychology of Money: Understanding Your Relationship with Money

Image
Money is a fundamental part of our daily lives.  We use it to buy our basic needs, pay for our bills, and treat ourselves to the occasional indulgence. However, the role that money plays in our lives goes beyond the financial transactions that we make. Our relationship with money can have a significant impact on our mental and emotional well-being.

Starting a New Hobby: Worth It?

Image
Starting a new hobby can be both exciting and intimidating. Why so? It is a great way to explore new interests and challenge yourself to try something new. Personally, I do not often engage in new hobbies, so let me talk about about starting a new hobby based on the experiences of others.

Earl Grey

Image
As a tea lover, I've tried many different blends over the years, but one that has always stood out to me is Earl Grey tea. (Hibiscus teas are a topic for another discussion, though.)  There's just something about the unique combination of black tea and bergamot oil that creates a flavor and aroma that is unlike any other tea I've tried. From its rich history to its connection to pop culture, there are so many reasons why I love Earl Grey tea.

What is ADHD and How is It Diagnosed?

Image
This is a topic I first had my doubts I should share about. First of all, this is something extremely personal. Second of all, I have not been officially diagnosed with it. This is my assumption based on my observations and observations from people around me. Yes, I have been experiencing the symptoms of ADHD for many years. It makes my life uneasy and I give a specific impression to other people who misjudge me only because I can easily lose my focus, make a silly mistake, which I should not, or keep interrupting someone talking only because I can't wait but I am normally polite. So let's talk about this condition which some people do not believe is a thing and some (like me) assume they have for multiple reasons.

The Basics of Personal Finance: Budgeting, Saving, and Investing

Image
Personal finance is something I have been doing for a long time now.  In the beginning, I had to track my expenses to make ends meet. When my financial situation was improving, I was just interested in where my money was going on a monthly basis. Then by tracking both expenses and incomes I was able to see clearly how much I saved each month, or on the contrary, "borrowed" from my savings.  One thing led to another, and here I am tracking, planning, saving and considering investments.

That Smells Fishy, or What Makes Fish Smelly

Image
I am all for healthy food and eating fish is part of my healthy eating routine. However, like many other people, not infrequently do I get kind of disgusted by its odor. How come? One of the best foods on the earth for a healthy way of living and this ? So I am wondering how science explains its sometimes nose-breaking smell. Let's find out.

What to Consider When Buying a Fitness Bracelet

Image
Fitness bracelets, also known as activity trackers, are popular gadgets that can help you track your fitness goals and monitor your progress. Personally, I've been using a fitness bracelet, or a smart watch, for many years now. My deep sleep, my heart rate, my 8K steps, my calories spent - just to name a few, - all is being monitored for me non-stop. I am not going to disclose which one exactly, but mine is not anything super smart or super expensive but really, really handy. And with so many options on the market, choosing the right fitness bracelet can be overwhelming.  Let's  discuss some of the key factors to consider when buying a fitness bracelet.

What is ASMR and Why Does it Matter?

Image
Well, I must admit: I am a big fan of ASMR. I've been using it for relaxation and for pleasure. I have even tried the so-called "visual ASMR", which works for me, too.  However, I was a skeptic at first when I had heard about it. But I just had to find my "triggers". OK, here goes... ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is a phenomenon that has gained significant popularity in recent years.  It's a unique experience that many people describe as a tingling sensation in the scalp, neck, and upper back, often triggered by certain sounds, visuals, or movements.

Lessons I've Learned from Traveling Alone

Traveling alone can be an incredibly rewarding experience, one that provides the opportunity to learn about oneself and the world in new and exciting ways. Over the years, I've embarked on solo trips both near and far, and each adventure has taught me valuable lessons that have helped me grow as a person.  Now I would like to share some of the most important lessons I've learned from traveling alone.
